Saskatoon Wrestling Club

The Saskatoon Wrestling Club (SWC) provides amateur wrestling programs for male and female athletes of all ages in Saskatoon. The Club consists of three main divisions:

  • The Bulldogs - adult wrestlers who are not Huskie athletes.
  • The U of S Huskies - student athletes who are enrolled and meet the criteria to compete for the U of S.
  • The PUPS - elementary aged athletes.

The SWC is a non-profit organization of individuals who are interested in promoting the sport of wrestling in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and Canada. The club executive is largely made up of coaches and former athletes who grew-up with the sport, and are directly involved with the programs.

The Saskatoon Jr Huskies, Inc. is a separate organization that focuses on the development of High School aged athletes. Although the SWC and the Jr Huskies are independent entities, they have a collaborative relationship that focuses on offering a pathway for the continuous development of athletes from elementary, high school and University to Senior Wrestling.
